Our story
Horton Press was founded in 2023 to grow wrestling culture and literature. Built around community, education, and athletic growth, we give wrestlers, coaches, parents, and fans practical ways to explore and share the sport. Our books, podcasts, and tools help the wrestling community talk, learn, and improve together.
Meet Coach Tre
Born in Fairfield, California, and raised in Pennsylvania and Georgia, Tre Horton is an engineer and wrestling coach. He currently coaches at Life University, where he serves as Director of Men’s Wrestling Operations and Director of the Life University Olympic Regional Training Center. He has loved poetry and writing since he was young, and he still looks for ways to share that energy with others. Over the years he has earned recognition as a coach and collected many industry certifications. As an Academic and Research Support Engineer, he has also written several wrestling books for a broader audience.
